This is a perfectly fine hotel. It is centrally located and easy to get around. The rooms are small but clean and the bathroom is nice size and fairly new. They only major problem with this hotel was internet connection. It is incredibly expensive. If you need to use high speed internet, don't book this hotel. It was incredibly expensive. It seems odd that some hotels simply provide it for free and others like this one decide to charge a huge amount of money for what these days is a necessary thing if you are travelling and working. Otherwise, the hotel was fine--watch out for single in the UK--it means twin bed!!

Yes! Very good and an excellent hotel.

The hotel is ideally positioned and very central. Ideal for a visit to the theatre or a shopping trip, a ten minute walk to Leicester Square and Covent Garden.

The room was not luxurious but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included and was very good. The hotel is reasonably priced and overall I can recommend it as being good value for money.

Room was small but very clean and tidy. The staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Would certainly recommend for weekend break.

We found the hotel to be perfectly pleasant. Comfortable room and beds, tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Check in and out service very efficient. Being able to leave our luggage and go shopping the next day was much appreciated. No complaints. Would use hotel again.

Room a little small but clean, old fashioned decor in public areas.Good position for Covent Garden and theatreland. Fast service at breakfast if you were early enough. Good value and would recommend it to others.

First impression was good, room was on 5th floor pretty basic was a little disappointed later that night to my disgust saw a mouse running about, got moved to an executive suite where surrounding was still being refurbished room was a good improvement but still not like on the website. i let the staff know on checkout i was not happy but they could not care less, 1 good point is location is great

Excellent hotel very central for all westend attractions five minute walk from Charing Cross tube station.

We just got home. We stayed at London for 4 days. Hotel Strand Palace was great, we really liked it. Very good lcoation, everything was within walking distance. There is also a bus stop in front of the door (3.5 pounds p.p.p per day). The breakfast and the service were good. The room was a bit small, but good enough for a city trip, the beds were very good! Don't use the tourist bus (24 pounds p.p.), but take the normal bus, you can use those to go everywhere (day-ticket 3.5 pounds p.p.).
