Reviews Hotel Rochester Champs Elysees ****

All 3 of us had a difficult time getting in and out of the shower/tub. The tub was too high off the ground. We were very disappointed in the breakfast on our last day. We had an early check-out before the restaurant opened and the hotel supplied us with a breakfast the night before for us to eat the morning of the check out. We received 3 orange juices, 3 yogurts, 2 clementines and one kiwi. We also received some prepackaged madelines. We were given lot of mini jam jars. Unfortunately we were only given 3 knives to each the breakfast with. For the price we paid for this breakfast I was very disappointed.

Very pleased with the hotel, and always try to stay there when I am in Paris for business (Sanofi). Vincent is a great bartender. I am always pleased to see him. The concierge is also very nice and welcoming. The Rochester is my favorite.

Even if I had a non Smoking room it smelled very strong like somke. I was bother about tha.

The room is old but good maintened but maybe due to the curtains and carpet smoke odors remain.

Friendly service. I appreciate the fact that I was given a room early morning - that the staff were helpful and made an effort to get the room ready at the earliest.

The Rochester Hotel is an extremely pleasant hotel with very high spec in terms of its decor, cleanliness, situation (200 metres from Champs Elysee). The overall accommodation was excellent and so was the service. Highly recommended.

allthough we enjoyed our stay at the rochester,there were a couple of small gripes breakfst room a bit small for no of guests had to wait for a table a couple of times. We only used the bar on one accosion as it was a bit dark, which may be due to dark wood panelling, and was lacking in atmosphere. Also on friday and saturday night there were a lot of cars being driven by youngsters ghoing up the street on which hotel stands lots of peeping horns and revving engines. Having said this we enjoyed our stay at the rochester and the staff were all msot helpfull and polite.
